The brief
A menu format that supports daily changes without reprinting an expensive piece every day.
What we made
The kitchen changes the menu every day based on what comes in. We split the menu into a permanent rigid cover that carries the brand and the fixed items, and a cheap daily insert the restaurant prints in-house on a template. The expensive part is printed once. The part that changes is nearly free.
The outcome
The restaurant cut its menu printing cost by more than half and stopped running out of current menus mid-service.
