The brief

Visibility around a blind corner for pedestrians arriving from either direction, without a sign that fights the historic brick facade.

What we made

The taphouse sits on a corner where most people approach on foot from two directions and never see the flat wall sign until they have already passed it. We designed a double-sided blade sign that projects off the brick and reads cleanly from both ends of the block. The face uses a warm push-through acrylic so the lighting looks like part of the building, not bolted onto it.

The outcome

The owner reports a noticeable lift in walk-ins from the direction the old sign faced away from. The sign has held up through two years of weather on an exposed corner with no service calls.
