Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to what people usually ask before reaching out. If you don't see your question here, here's your next step: ask us directly.
Getting started
How do I get a quote?
Fill out the contact form and tell us what you're trying to accomplish. Answer only what applies to your project, and we'll come back with a specific recommendation, not a menu of options to sort through yourself.
What do I need to provide to get started?
Just a clear description of what you're trying to accomplish. Existing logos, brand files, or reference photos help but aren't required. Fill out the contact form and answer only what applies to your project.
What if I don't have a logo yet?
That's not a problem. If you don't have one, EyeTraps designs it as part of your project, delivered as a production-ready vector file in every major format. If you already have a logo, we can refine or vectorize it instead of starting from scratch.
How many rounds of revisions are included?
Three rounds of revisions are included in every project, enough to land exactly where you want it before anything goes to production.
What if my project doesn't fit a standard package?
That's what the Custom package is for. If your project is larger than a standard package or doesn't fit the Launch Systems ladder, tell us what you're trying to accomplish through the contact form and we'll scope it individually.
Pricing and packages
Do you publish your prices?
No. Every quote is scoped to your specific project through the contact form, because a logo refresh and a full storefront launch need completely different scope even inside the same package. Tell us what you're trying to accomplish, and we'll come back with a number scoped to it.
What's the minimum project size?
There's no minimum. Any order is welcome, from a single piece to a full launch. Here's what I recommend: use one of the Business Launch Systems packages when you can, since it follows the complete production process the EyeTraps team already runs end to end, so you get the most value for what you spend.
What determines the price of my quote?
The scope of what you're trying to accomplish. A logo refresh and a full storefront launch need completely different amounts of work even within the same package, so every quote is scoped to your specific project rather than pulled from a price list.
Can I get a package customized to my industry?
Yes. Business Launch Systems packages come customized for specific industries, from restaurants to law firms to home services, so the recommendation you get already accounts for what businesses like yours actually need.
How does payment work?
For orders under $500, full payment is due before production starts. For orders $500 and above, half is due before production and the remaining half is due after production, before delivery or installation. Your invoice states which applies to your order.
Production and shipping
Who actually makes my order?
EyeTraps controls production from specification to quality check, working through a vetted manufacturing partner network instead of handing your project to an outside print shop. You deal only with us at every step.
Will I know who's actually manufacturing my order?
No, and that's by design. Your order ships blind, with no forwarder or manufacturer information visible, so the only company you ever deal with is EyeTraps.
How long does a project typically take?
It depends on the size of the project. Small projects run 3 to 7 days, mid-size projects run 2 to 3 weeks, and large projects run 4 to 8 weeks. Your specific timeline is confirmed when your quote is scoped.
Can you rush my order?
Sometimes, depending on the season and current demand. Expedited production isn't guaranteed, so ask when you request your quote and we'll tell you what's realistic for your timing.
What file formats do I receive?
Every major format a producer needs: AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, and PNG, depending on the piece. Files are built production-ready so they can go straight to any producer with no re-drawing required.
Installation
Do you install outside Dallas-Fort Worth?
Not directly, but every order still gets installed to spec. Outside the DFW Metroplex, EyeTraps handles the design and production, then connects you with a vetted local installer and stays involved until the result matches what you approved.
Who installs my signage if I'm in the DFW area?
EyeTraps does, directly. Installation inside the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is performed and supervised by us, not handed off to a third party.
Will you stay involved if a local installer outside DFW is handling the install?
Yes. Even when a vetted local installer handles the physical work outside DFW, EyeTraps stays involved until the finished result matches what you approved.
Working together
Can I track my order once it's placed?
Yes. Once your order is underway, you get a private tracking link showing your order's status, an estimated completion or delivery date, and a timeline of what's been completed. No login needed, just the link.
Will I get updates while my order is in progress?
Yes. You'll get an email whenever your order moves to a new stage or the estimated date changes, on top of the tracking link you can check any time.
What's my main point of contact during the project?
EyeTraps, and only EyeTraps. Design, production, and installation usually mean touring multiple vendors and repeating yourself to each one. Working with EyeTraps replaces that with a single point of contact for the whole job.
How do I make a change to my order after it's placed?
Reply to any email from us or use the contact form, and we'll update it. Here's what I recommend: flag a change as early as possible, since it's easier to fit into production without affecting your timeline.
Do you work with businesses on an ongoing basis, not just one-time projects?
Yes. EyeTraps Always On is a monthly creative retainer for businesses that want ongoing campaigns instead of one-off projects, with a three month minimum so there's enough time for a real campaign to work.
Still have a question?
Here's your next step: tell us what you're trying to accomplish, and we'll come back with a specific answer, not a form letter.
